Of all the towns in all of Ireland, Pat Gleeson decided to settle in Dungarvan with his family and open the business Apache Pizza.  

Moving from County Dublin, where Pat had almost 30 years in the pub trade, this move, geographically, socially and professionally was more than a minor change to his entire family. 

A great testament to Dungarvan and its people, that this county Dublin family wanted to live and work here. Pat and his wife quickly identified the location beside the SGC Dungarvan, from where his Apache Pizza  business now exists, as his preferred  business location.  

Why Pizza?? Why Not!!

From Pat’s pub trade experience there are many similarities and so the transition,  though full of learning,  would not be too difficult. Still with the emphasis on customer service, Pat could easily adapt his skills to this new venture.  

It didn’t happen without preparation and intensive training when finally the attractive business model ‘Apache Pizza’ became a reality for Pat and his family in Dungarvan. Opening before Christmas (2008), Pat says he has received a great response from the town and surrounding areas.  

Offering a full and varied menu catering from a single person with a small appetite to a major party at great value, it’s the quality and taste that sets this pizza joint apart  from competitors. Pat Gleeson makes a point of getting to know his customers, listening to feedback and continually offering a professional service.
